Round the Bridges is a popular annual event in Hamilton, New Zealand, celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2014! There are 6km and 12km events and a 2km kids challenge for children from school years 3 to 8.
Join more than 4500 runners, joggers, walkers and wheelchair athletes of all ages and speeds who take part in this iconic event each year. All shapes and sizes participate from dogs, to fancy dressed bunnies and super heroes.
Experience the heart of Hamilton City on foot, with the wind streaming through your hair by taking in this unique course which showcases Hamilton's stunning river trails, iconic bridges and Gardens. With pop up musical entertainment and cheer squads en-route, every participant is motivated to keep moving in this fun event.
