The Mangonui Lions Club Fun Run and Walk is a fundraiser for their community projects, and to promote health and fitness in the community.
The main events are 6km and 8km from Mangonui School to Coopers Beach, via Historic Mangonui Village and Mill Bay, with entry fee of $10 taken on the day. As a Fun Run and Walk no times will be recorded, and spot prizes provided by local businesses will be given away drawn by lot.
The short 2km for the children will be along Coopers Beach and entry is a gold coin donation on the day. The 6km and 8km start at 10am, and the 2km at 10.45am.
