About the Pak n Save Marlborough Sun Run
The Marlborough Sun Run was previously known as the Marlborough Marathon; the name of the event has undergone a change that reflects what this event is really all about which is not just a marathon. As the name suggests it is a run/walk in one NZ's sunniest provinces and at a time of the year that is general perfect conditions to run in.
The venue is the heart and soul of running and athletics in Marlborough and that is Athletic Park, Blenheim. The park is situated right next to the Taylor River Reserve and will make a great venue for a classic start/finish and a host of fun activities for family and friends. The venue is only a kilometre from the Blenheim CBD.
