The annual Pak n Save Marlborough Sun Run at Athletic Park in Blenheim (formerly known as the Marlborough Marathon) has 42.2km marathon, 21.1km half marathon, 15km, 10km and 5km running events and a kids 2km.
The name has changed in 2014 from the Marlborough Marathon to the Marlborough Sun Run to reflect what the event is really all about, which is not just a marathon. As the name suggests it is a ran/walk in one NZ's sunniest provinces and at a time of the year that is general perfect conditions to run in.
