The Fullers Wharf2Wharf Fun Run incorporates 5 distances over different terrains for runners and walkers. It was started in 1992 by the Waiheke Harriers and proceeds from this annual event are distributed by Waiheke Rotary Club to assist local community organisations and charities.
Distances include 25km from Orapiu to Matiatia (with cash prizes), 13km from Orapiu to Onetangi, 12km from Onetangi to Matiatia, and 7km (for families) from Kennedy Point to Matiatia. New in 2015 are a 5K from Surfdale to Matiatia; a Kids Dash at Matiatia, and a Family Bear Hunt with fun playground activities.
