Chace'em Up the Mount is a 4 person team relay event up or around Mount Maunganui as a fundraiser for the Dream Chaser Foundation.


Please note this event was originally scheduled for November 9th but was postponed to December 13th 2014.


Each team member will need to complete a full circuit of The Mount OR a return trip up to the summit and back down to the Mt Maunganui Surf Club where they will tag the next runner. This is a great team building challenge for your friends, family and workplace.

The Great KidsCan Santa Run is an annual run throughout New Zealand: run approximately 2 to 3km dressed as Santa to raise money for KidsCan.


All events except for the Hastings & Palmerston North events are on Wednesday December 3rd; Hastings & Palmerston North are on Thursday December 4th.


Adult entrants receive a free Santa suit and goodie bag as part of their entry fee. Event proceeds goes to KidsCan to support disadvantaged kiwi kids. The courses are kept easy so everyone can finish, with minimal training and are highly visible for maximum impact.

Owai 5K in the Park is a weekly 5km and 2.5km race on Wednesday nights run by Owairaka Athletic & Harrier Club at Lovelock Track on Sandringham Road in Mt Roskill.


The 2014/15 season sees two race series from October 22nd to December 17th, and then January 28th to March 25th. The course runs through the park on paths with some grassy sections, and there is a sauage sizzle and cold drinks available at the end.

There will not be a Wings for Life Run in New Zealand in 2015.


Located only 45 mins from the heart of Auckland City, the New Zealand track of the Wings for Life World Run will start at Hampton Downs raceway. This gives runners a unique opportunity to begin their journey on one of New Zealand's premium racetracks.


The race will continue until there is one female and one male athlete in the world left running. Only they will be crowned Wings for Life World Run Champion.

The Run to Remember is a 12km fun run and walk to honour those that lost their lives during the February 2011 earthquake in Christchurch.


The run starts at Victoria Park and heads up Harry Ell Track, turning left onto Summit Road. You run along Summit Road before turning down Rapaki Track and finishing at Hansen Park. It's a mix of both trail and road and a good challenge for runners and walkers of all levels.


All profits are donated to Canterbury Earthquake Children's Trust who are helping children that lost a parent in the Canterbury earthquake.

Urban Assault starts and finishes from Cathedral Square in Christchurch and involves running, jumping, crawling, scrambling and sliding your way through a 5km course.

The Great Ape Race at Auckland Zoo is a fun navigation event with a difference, that raises funds for orangutan conservation.


The 40-minute race for business/work or family/social teams will get your heart pumping, your legs racing and push your brain into over-drive as you strategise to work out the fastest way to reach a number of destinations throughout the Zoo, answer questions correctly, and make it back to the Band Rotunda within the time limit. 2014 sees the introduction of some mystery activities that will allow you to score bonus points if completed!


This event is for teams of 2 or 4 people. 3 person teams can enter but will be entered into the 4 person category but will not be eligible for merit prizes. There are great prize packs up for grabs and spot prizes to be won.
