The Tawharanui Coastal Challenge is a new event by TotalSport for 2015 as part of the new Coastal Challenge series. There are multiple start locations with all events finishing next to the surf club at Omaha Beach.
The event options are:
- Beach Hopper – 6km Run / Walk (starts at Anchor Bay)
- Bay Scrambler – 12km Run / Walk (starts at Jones Bay)
- Mini Monty – 17km Run / Walk (starts at Christian Bay)
- Mid Monty – 22km Run (starts at Million Bay)
- Full Monty – 32km Run & Teams Relay Run (starts at Snells Beach)
