The Lodge to Lodge Half Marathon and 10km Wandle walk/run at Mt Lyford is organised by the Waiau Citizens Association as an annual community event.
The half marathon runs from the Mt Lyford Horse Treks paddock to the Waiau Lodge Hotel and the 10km from the Wandle Bridge to Waiau Lodge Hotel. The half marathon can be run solo or as a two person team relay. There is also a kids 2.5km event.
