Motatapu is an annual event including the Icebreaker Off Road Marathon, 15km arrowtown.com Miner's Trail Run and 49km R&R Sport Team Adventure Run and Solo Adventure Run.
The Off Road Marathon starts at Motatapu Station, near Lake Wanaka and finishes in Arrowtown. The 15km Miner's Run starts and ends in Arrowtown, following a trail mountain loop. The 49km Adventure Run starts at Fern Burn near Wanaka and ends in Arrowtown.
There are also mountain bike, off road triathlon and multisport events but these are not covered here on this running calendar website.
