The Great Cranleigh Kauri Run is a 76km Ultra Marathon, 32km, 23km and 13km trail run or walk which takes place on the stunningly beautiful Northern Coromandel Peninsula. The 76km run can also be done as a two person relay, with legs of 44km and 32km.
The 32km and 13km events start on the white sands of Waikawau Beach on the eastern coast of the peninsula with the 32km event finishing in Coromandel Township and the 13km event finishing at the White Star Station, close to Colville, both located on the western side of the peninsula.
The 23km "demi marathon" starts at the White Star Station and finishes in Coromandel Township.
The 76km ultra-marathon starts at Port Jackson at the top of the Coromandel Peninsula and ends at Coromandel Township.
