The XTERRA Trail Challenge is an annual trail run is at the Karangahake Gorge near Waihi. There are short (7.3K), mid (13K), long (19K) marathon (42K) and ultra-marathon (60K) length courses.
The XTERRA Trail Challenge is the culmination of the popular XTERRA Auckland Trail Run / Walk series, a series of 7 events that have been held May and September in some of the best off-road locations in and around the greater Auckland region.
